This project entitled is implemented using the secret key algorithm. The object of the newly designed encryption algorithm with complex functionalities is to in volute it so that even if cryptanalyst acquires vast amounts of enciphered text that has been encrypted by our algorithm.

In secret key algorithm, both encryption and decryption key is kept secret.

This project is titled as “DES (Digital Encryption System)” is to implement the DES Algorithm through networking capabilities, which is done in java to make sure that cryptographic techniques can be implemented in multi-platform.

So this project explains a popular encryption algorithm DES and makes you implement through mathematical formulas.

The algorithm flow is as follows:

The first step is to pass the 64-bit key through a permutation called PERMUTED CHOICE 1, or PC1 for short.

Once the key scheduling has been performed, the next step is to prepare the plain text for the actual encryption. This is done by passing the plain text through a permutation called the Initial Permutation or IP for short.

This project is developed on client server technology.

The client encrypts the file and sends to the server. Other client will receive the file and decrypts the file by using the same private key.
